How to spend 4th of July

  1. Wear a patriotic t-shirt! (of course)
  2. Go to a small town parade – these are the best, with homemade floats and lots of candy, plus the marching band often playing the Start Spangled Banner.
  3. Eat corn on the cob, grilled hot bugs or burgers and potato chips
  4. Play a game of volleyball, croquet or bags
  5. Attend an outdoor concert
  6. Go swimming

However you choose to spend it, I wish you a wonderful day celebrating the independence we are blessed with. May we all value it and fight to keep it, just as our founding fathers did.
